The Mystery and Intrigue of the 1920's. Welcome the Nightingale house. This 4100 sqf manor with 12' ceilings and 6 bedrooms, hosted many a sultry summer night galas during the height of prohibition and the speakeasies. Guests would dance the night away drinking lime gin rickys on the large wraparound porch over looking Dot's Pond. The house is comprised of large flowing rooms with high ceilings, and a happy calming energy which feels something like happy hour in Louisiana. The mature English gardens and shrubs meander the rolling Greene county landscape like a labyrinth leading from one pleasant sitting area to the next.
